2009 No. 254 Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé

A perfect lovely dry Rosé that begs to be enjoyed on a warm late spring day or at twillight as the sun sets on a lazy summer afternoon.

The beautiful pink hue is a result of 24 hours of juice to skin contact in stainless steel fermenters. It is cold fermented for three months, which leads to a very fruit forward wine with aromas of strawberry and honeysuckle, followed by fresh rapsberry and crisp citrus flavors. Serve it icy cold on a warm summer day, this wine is perfect by itself. It also pairs wonderfully with a lovely Salade Nicoise, grilled fish or light BBQ.
